Are you creative and want to see your inspiring ideas put into action? We’re looking for an experienced TIG Welder who likes to create content! This is a great opportunity to enhance your skills in a new area or to be able to take on additional work on a flexible basis.
Position Overview
As a content creator and writer, you will use your fabrication and TIG welding expertise to generate ideas, gather information and develop content for our website and social media channels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating compelling content including articles, blogs, videos, social media, websites, and training documents.
- Creating and designing simple 3D models of small fabrication projects
- Providing edits to a written copy
- Working closely with multimedia artists, providing one on one feedback and leading to edit scripts and content as needed
- Translating complex ideas into engaging and effective print, digital and web content for a variety of audiences with varying levels of knowledge about TIG welding
- There is also the possibility of attending live webinars and events, on- or off-camera.
About you:
- A qualified welder with 5+ years or more of TIG welding and fabrication experience
- Impeccable grammar in native English (written and verbal)
- Great self-starter, creative, detailed-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a virtual team
- Resourceful, and takes ownership of your projects by using all available resources to complete a task
- Listens and gets clarification and is unafraid to ask questions.
- Gives and welcomes feedback.
Although content creation experience is desirable, it is not required. It is also desirable if you can make simple drawings in Illustrator (.ai) or AUTOCAD (.dxf) data file formats are a plus, but again, this is not required. We do however want someone innovative and creative, and eager to learn. If you cannot use the software mentioned, we’d like you to be committed to learning how to use it in the future.

Job Type
Between 8-40 hours a week on a freelance basis.
